Arturo,

Yes, there are a number of ways; that technology is vey secret though. Your cellphone has a gps chip in it too that you can be tracked by. If you are that concerned you probably should not carry a cell phone, use a GPS, or any other technology for that matter. At least until you understand it better...

A company in Vancouver BC Canada manufactures a waterproof case / lithium-ion battery pack for the BlueLogger. It boosts the run-time to 60 hours which is more in line with the BlueLoggers Datalogging Capabilities. See www.alti-tech.com

Altina has a bluetooth gps reciever that you can buy for $119.99 at http://www.diginetlink.com. I ordered one for even cheaper off ebay, but I havent recieved it yet. It looks like a really good unit: its got WAAS, and you can use it with bluetooth or USB!

I can tell ya it doesn't like the Bluetooth module in my Dell laptop, keeps connecting and disconnecting over and over. It does seem happier with my USB Bluetooth adapter (D-Link DWB-120) in my machine at work, but I havent had a chance to actually pull any data from it yet.

If/when I get it working with my laptop, I'll do an accuracy comparison against the Garmin 60CS.
